The city of Morgantown razed two nuisance structures on Brockway Avenue this week. Morgantown Communications Director Andrew Stacy said the city hired Fairmont-based contractor Reclaim Company, LLC for the demolition and clearing of 611 and 619 Brockway Ave. The structures were previously condemned and have been vacant for an extended period of time. The properties were among several in the Greenmont neighborhood all owned by Herald Berthy that appeared on a neighborhood petition circulated last summer asking the city to take action.
